This Electric Start Kit is designed for fitment for both rigid and swing arm Harley Davidson PanHead and KnuckleHead applications.

No longer do you need to change your transmission main shaft or transmission case to a later style with mounting ears for an inner primary cover to put an electric starter on your Harley Davidson Knucklehead (or panhead).

The kit mounts directly to your transmission mounting plate as shown in the picture above and includes a 1 1/2" belt drive.

With some modifications to your tin primary covers, you can retain that original pan head look!!

Odyssey Low Profile 12 Volt Battery. This dry cell battery produces 545 Cold Cranking Amps!! and fits in the Electric Start Oil Tanks shown above. (3.37"x 7"x 5.17")

Along with the base kit for the harley davidson panhead /knuckhead electric starter kit, we offer two different clutch arms modified to work with the electric starter kit, one to replace a hand clutch using a mousetrap elimiator arm, or a full length modified clutch arm for your foot clutch application on your panhead, or knucklhead.
